In the Cooperation’s facilities is carried out the collection, sorting, preparation, packaging, storage and finally the distribution of the fresh agricultural products.
The cooperative manages approximately 200 acres of fresh vegetables, of which the largest proportion is the large-fruited tomato and to a lesser extent products such as eggplant and pepper (red-green horn, green block).
The packaging of the agricultural products is always performed respecting the consumer and according to the specifications of each customer. In the area there are machines equipped with the latest technology which are handled by experienced pilots. The products’ storage consists of two chambers (pre-cooling and maintenance) of about 60m² each. The chambers are rigorously tested for temperature stability and maintenance of the products’ quality characteristics. It is also provided space for the receipt of the products and for loading and unloading by special ramps.
