Pepper

Hot or sweet, green, red or yellow, raw or cooked pepper offer taste and color to our salad and not only. Apart from spicy and tasty seems to be healthy as it is rich in vitamins needed by our body that can help us in losing weight and strengthening our immune system.

The peppers are high in nutrients. They are one of the richest sources of vitamins A and C. Amount equivalent to one cup per day can provide us with more than 100% of our daily needs.
 

Integrate into your diet peppers of all colors to get more benefits. The red peppers are a good source of fiber, folic acid, vitamin K and manganese. And it is particularly rich in nutrients such as: 

Vitamin A, which is good for eyesight and protects against infections.

Vitamin C, which can reduce the risk of cancer.

Vitamin B6, which is vital for basic body functions such as brain function and immune system.

Lutein and zeaxanthin, which may slow the development of eye diseases such as macular degeneration.

Beta-carotene, which may help protect against certain cancers, such as breast cancer in women before menopause.

After harvesting, the products are packaged on the facilities of the cooperative which is certified with the ISO 22000:2005 standard and shipped the same day to the markets of Greece and abroad.
